The third solid control system working principle is precipitation method. This kind of method is to use the proportion difference of solid and liquid to make the solid sink down and separate under the function of gravity. Add flocculant to the mud to bond the solids, which is able to enlarge the size of the solid and to accelerate the sediment speed. And it is possible to add viscosity reducer to the mud to reduce viscosity of the mud and speed up sediment. However, the chemical binder cannot remove grit alone.
